I'm running a full Active Directory network, with print,
file, and Active Directory services running a Windows
2000 Server machine. There are 7 client machines on the
network, all running Windows XP Pro, and 6 of them have
no problems printing. All can print successfully to my
network printer (Lexmark 3200) from MS Word, Internet
Explorer, and Netscape (Navigator and Messenger).
However, the 7th, a Dell Latitude CPx laptop has
problems. It CAN successfully print from local documents
with MS Word XP, but I get a failure to print
notification when trying to print from Internet Explorer
6 and Netscape 7 (Navigator and Messenger). The user
settings for the Latitude CPx are the same as the other
users on the network, with identical permissions. I'm at
a loss as to why it would successfully print from Word,
but not the others, very weird. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
