I am trying to connect a new PC to my workgroup.
Both my PC and the new PC are running XP Pro.
My PC can see the new PC under 'view Workgroup computers'.
But when I click on it, I receive message Invalid Network Path.
I can now ping both ways. (Originally a firewall was preventing one way)
I have alreary gone through the step in Windows firewall, file and printer
sharing, Change scope of TCP445, and verified my Network subset only is
checked, on both machines.
Can anyone suggest what I need to do next to troubleshoot?

Let's look at logs from "browstat status", "ipconfig /all", "net config server",
and "net config workstation", from each computer, and diagnose the problem.
Read this article, and linked articles, and follow instructions precisely
(download browstat!):
