network password

I have a lan at home and need to change the password given
to one of the external computers to access the server. How
do I do this?

Are you sure you mean "computer" password and not user? If you could
elaborate a bit we could probably help as in exactly what is the
problem/error message and is this an Active Directory domain? The link
below shows methods to reset computer accounts in a W2K domain if that is
