Network Password Problem

Recently we installed a Network with only four PC's running Windows 2000 and
a single printer located on the receptionists machine, everything was
running great until one of the users decided to change their password, now
that user doesn't have access to the printer and shared folders on the other
computers. If I log the user in with their old user ID and Password then it
still works. Where do I need to update the users password? Also is it
possible to have the network passwords change when ever the user selects a
new password?

THANKS

Sounds like you are running windows 2000 in a workgroup instead of a
centralised domain.

You have to have a matching username and password on the pc with the printer
attached and the other users must have the same usernames and passwords on
the local pc's (username and password on clients and print "server" must
match).

So if a user changes their password, then the corresponding username and
password must be changed on the "server" to match.

hope that makes sense.
