Network Monitor on Windows 2000/XP Pro?

Is it anyway possible to run network monitor on windows
2000/xp PRO? I realize that it is designed for server,
but would be great if I could find a way to use on my
laptop. Thanks!

LOAD ADMINPAK.MSI THAT IS LOCATED ON A 2000 SERVER CD ROM.
THEN LOAD NETWORK PROPERTIES THROUGH NETWORK PROPERTIES
