yep, if your messenger service is still activated. [this has nothing to do
with windows or msn messenger. just a common name: "messenger". confusing
eh?]
just open a dos box [or whatever you would like to call it]. start > run >
cmd.
type: net send <computer name | * > then your message then press enter.
* would send the message to all the users on the group
specifying a name would send the message to the computer name only.
example:
net send * hello, world! --would send "hello, world!" to all the users in
the same workgroup as you are.
net send mary hello, world! --would send "hello, world!" to the user using
the computer named mary.
you may type net/? or net send/? to have more help on the dos box.
