Hey everyone, i have 2 computers running xp pro. The one i use the most has
all my settings, files, etc.. I would like to know how i could make it so i
can type in my user name on the other computer and have the exact same
settings show up (wallpaper and everything). Any input would be greatly
appreciated.

You are looking for roaming profiles, which would be do-able if you had an
NT4/2000/2003 domain. You can setup an NT4 domain free (minus the cost of
the spare box) using Samba running on a linux box, if you really wanted to.

if you don't want to mess around with profiles just use the file and
settings export wizard under start>>programs>>accessories>>system programs

The only problem with using the file and settings transfer wizard, is
that it will export your setings to the other machine, but they will
not be updated. So, in effect, it is still two seperate profiles.
Roaming profiles is probably the best option, but needs a server to
store the profiles remotely.
Unless you want to be using the settings transfer wizard everytime you
switch machines.
