Hello , Does anyone have already installed a software
called Cluster Sentinel for NLB monitoring ? Got that on
resource kit , installed but it refuses to log to my SQL
server . Where does it store connection information and
which ODBC it uses ? Also, I know there is a tool around
called Network Load Balance Manager . It is included on
W2K advanced server ? It it available for download ?
Thanks

Rogerio

Rogerio,

For ClusterSentinel have you contacted the support alias
([email protected])? They should be able to help. I believe the DSN is
called ClusterSentinel. Look at the install files on the reskit to be sure
(see the files in ths apps\ClusterSentinel\Controller folder). Also, look
for telling events in the NT event log on the host where the controller is
running.

As for NLB Manager, that is an administration tool that ships with Windows
Server 2003. It is used to configure hosts and manually stop/start, etc
remotely.

Cheers,
Chris
