Hello. I am trying to replace my wifes computer in the network. I have no
idea how to do this since another person set up the network. I believe hers
is the host computer because we share her printer. Two computers one printer
all running XP home. The network wizard is not helpful. Thank you in advance
for any help.
If you have a "host computer" you may be using a cross-over cable. Do you have
Internet service on both computers? That's where you start.

A description of how the computers are connected would be a very nice thing
right now.

I have two computers connected to a Cnet broadband router which is then connected to my modem. I can access the internet on my computer, my wifes old computer, and my wifes new computer. I was told that by simply plugging the new computer into the router it will become part of the network but I cant find it when I visit my network places on either my comp. or wifes old comp.
