Network Issues?

Did anyone have problems accessing this site about 10 mins before this post? I got a message from Techy as he couldn't view the site, neither could I - nor could I view my host.

Back up now, but the servers worked fine. Must have been a network issue I guess, but just wondering if it effected anyone else?

Yes Ian took me a long time to get in>:eek: about 35 Mins

Yep ... so I ironed a shirt or two while I waited.

It was off the air for 40seconds

I wasn't around at that time, so didn't notice anything amiss.
 
Just got this e-mail now, wonder if it has anything to do with it:

On Sunday night, January 15, 2006 The Planet will be conducting site-wide network maintenance on the TippingPoint network anti-intrusion system at the DLLSTX2 data center for 4 hours, beginning at 11:59PM CDT (GMT-0500).

Although the scheduled work is expected to be transparent to customers, it is possible that some latency and packet loss may be experienced for very brief periods of time during the upgrade.

Laundry is a "trade" ... I don't pay me enough.

Anyway, your ALL wrong ... I don't iron shirts, just put 'em on under a pullover. :p

Summertime I wair tea shirts ... or to be politically correct in my case, coffee shirts. ;)
