Hello, I am hoping that someone can help me. My issue is that I have two
computers, both running w2k pro that have a HP 4000 printers connected to
them. I have an adition 25 computers that print to these two pcs, most 2k
but a couple win98s. What is happening is that the after a person prints,
the computers is not releaseing them so I have to manually disconnect all
users several times a day or just reboot. This is happening on both
computers. Any suggestions would be apreciated.

Thanks
Travis

There is a 10 simultaneous connection limitation in Windows 2000
Professional. You need to move to Small Business Server - SBS 2000 version
has limitation of 49, SBS 2003 has connection limitation of 74.

Thanks for the reply. I am not sure if that is entirely what my issue is.
Though we have several users, they don't print often so its rare to have 3
or 4 concurrent users let alone 10. It usually takes until the afternoon
before I start having reports of people not able to access the printer. I
have removed and re-added the printers and the drivers. Is there something
else that I can look at that would cause the PC not to release the users
once their jobs are complete.
