Network Issue

I have a network in the following configuration
3 W2000 servers, 2 run DNS
5 Win 2K pro systems (sp3)
60 WIn NT 4.0 systems (sp4)
wins is running off a Samba server(Solaris 8)

Problem:
a new win2k system with dual nics wil only see the
network with both nics installed and configured
(secondary issue) the main problem is with connecting
across the network. The win2k will attach to any system
on the network thru network neighborhood but my NT4 boxes
get a "network path not found" when trying to connect to
this new box. The NT4 systems will connect ot all other
W2k systems. We can attach by IP address just not host
name and not network neighborhood.
Any ideas why?

It sounds like the WINS table needs to be updated with the
new W2k box info for the NT machines to be able to see it.
