network IP address determination

I have a network with manually assigned IP addresses. A
wireless access point on the network, that is
functioning, needs to be reconfigured. To do this I need
the IP address of the wireless access point and that
information is not available. Is there any method or
utility I can use to determine all of the IP addresses in
use on the network. I could ping possible addresses
individually but this would be time consuming. It seems
that there should be a utility that would ping all
addresses automatically and list ones that replied.
Anyone have any ideas?
