Hello. I am trying to put a Windows 2000 computer on our network. I have
NEVER had this problem before, but when I select 'System
Properties...Network Identification', the Network ID button (and its
cooresponding text) is grayed out. I can't click the network ID button.
TCP/IP is loaded, and the machine has obtained an IP address from our DHCP
server. Very strange!
I have tried updating the Win2K service pack, and I have tried using a
statically assigned IP address and nothing works.
Any help would be appreciated! (By the way, this is a brand new
installation)
