My computer is one of hundreds on the CWS/CMS Intranet.
One facility of the Lan,WAN, Mainframe network supported
by H.W.D.C. was the ability to sit at ANY computer on the
local LAN and log on with appropriate username/password at
that site. I could then use any of MIcrosoft Office's
integrated functions, print to the already defined printer
resource, get my E-mail, save data, etc. With the Advent
of Microsoft 2K, those functionms are defunct. Now a
new "profile" must be created at EACH computer enabling
resources (printer, E-mail, etc) to be activated. This
completely stops the network ease we had under Windows 95.
IS THERE A WAY AROUND THIS MASSIVE INCREASE IN WORK ?
