not me boss

I have two XP PC's with a wireless connection to a broadband router
which is connected to the Internet.
Both PC's can see the Internet as normal
I would like to be able to share the printer on one and see (map to)
folders and share files. I've named the workgroup the same on both and
tried the network connection wizards but I can't figure it out.

I would be really grateful if some one could point me in the right
direction

Thanks in advance

Hi,

You must have file and printer sharing installed in the properties of the
lan connection in the machine sharing the printer. You must also enable
sharing in the properties of the printer in the printers folder. If you are
running the firewall on the system with the printer, you may not be able to
"see" that machine from the other, and you must disable it before it will
work (not a recommended procedure if your router does not act as a firewall
as well).
