Here is my original problem:
"I just set up a new server and joined it to our domain. When I log into
the account using our network/domain admin account it maps all of the right
network drives and I can see all of the files but am unable to run
executables. The error says "Windows cannot access the specified device,
path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to accecss the
item." The account I am logged into is a full domain administrator. The
issue has persisted through a reformat. The only software currently
installed is Windows Server 2003 Standard and the Windows Updates for it."
Since then the problem seemed to resolve itself and things worked properly
for quite a while. We are experiencing the same issue now when trying to run
executables off of a network drive. Everything worked fine before and I am
unable to find any finite changes that would have caused the problems.
Thanks
