Hi,

I am using a Win 2K Server with Terminal Services in
Application Server Mode. My client is able to logon to
Server for 90 days with temporary licence. Since my server
is licenced for 5 users, I should be able to connect to
server with permanent why temporary?

After 90 days, it saying the network error. Is it
necessary to bye separately the licence for terminal
server or with 5 user licence of win 2k clients will be
able to connect the term server. We have the open licence
agreement with Microsoft.

Waiting for a early reply.

Thanks.

Terminal Services clients need a separate TS CAL. The 5 CALs that
you have a probably normal server CALs.
The first thing you have to do is to install and activate a
Terminal Services Licensing server on your Domain Controller.

If all of your clients run W2K Pro or XP Pro, you don't have to do
anything else. These clients get a free TS CAL from the LS. If you
have clients that run other operating systems, you will have to
buy and install TS CALs on the LS.
