Hi all,

I have a couple of users that have the exact same
problem. Both are running Win XP Pro and have network
drives that are mapped upon logon via a login script
(batch file really) that map properly. When they leave
their machines for a period of time however, and this
happens intermitantly, when they return to their machines
the drive mappings are completely gone from My Computer
and Explorer.

I have no idea what could be causing this problem. Any
help would be appreciated.

tick reconnect at logon when mapping. Im not sure what the MSDOS batch for
this is...

I'm not mapping the drives via the GUI inside of
Windows. I'm mapping it via a batch file and using "net
use" statements.

The only thing I can think of is that maybe using
the /persistent:yes at the end of the net use statement

A simple workaround is to give them a bat file on their desktop that they
can run which will reconnect the drives. Not a permanent solution, but will
work.
