Network Drive Mapping being lost

We have a user with a mapped network drive that everytime they log off or
restart the drive mapping is lost (and yes the reconnect at login box is
ticked).

We have upgraded to Windows XP SP3 but the problem still occurs.

The user has to manually map the drive everytime they want to use it.

Any tips?

The registry entry might need to be toggled off and on, with a restart in
between. Uncheck the reconnect checkbox, OK, restart Windows, Recheck, OK,
and restart.
