Hi. i just got a new computer and it has Vista on it and my dad has a
computer with xp on it with the router attached to it. my sister also has a
laptop with xp on it and they are able to map a network drive from each
computer to the other and send files across the netwpork yadda yadda. well i
got a "mini wireless usb adapter" and i'm connected to the network and can go
on the internet. but when i go into the "map a network drive" all i see is my
computers name and two folders called public and printers and i can't see the
workgroup that they see to make a sharing folder...
Well i was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem. thanks in
advance :)

Make sure you setup the same workgroup in all computers. Also make sure enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP. This troubleshooting may help,
