Hi,
Can anyone help with a network drive error. Basically I
have XP set-up on my machine which is linked to the LAN by
ethernet. Pre-XP I could link to the network using various
applications and read/write data to and from the server.
However, now I get a 'network drive error' (OK or Cancel)
appear randomly which hinders me using my applications
effectively. Sometimes if i press cancel the error goes
away but in the main, I have to restart the comupter. I
have checked the cable to and from the switch and have
even changed cables over with a colleague to see if it
would remidy the situation - to no avail. I have a feeling
it has something to do with a rights conflict but I have
full user rights on the network and the machine. Can
anyone help.
Kind Regards,
Riz
