Network drive display

Does anybody know if you can configure the way that mapped
network drives are displayed. As far as I can tell they
are displayed "Share name on Server Description (Server
name) Drive Letter"

It is a bit long winded. Is it possible to display the
drive letter first and then all the other stuff after it?
