Hi,
What is the best way to keep a dynamic diagram of the network? In the past
we took several approaches and they all failed. The first was to have static
Visio diagram which gets outdated pretty quickly. We then created a SQL
Server database and created IDs for all our clients and servers. This also
allowed us to link Help Desk to our system but again, as people make changes
in the system, they forget to update the info in the database.
What is the best way to keep a tab on the network dynamically? We'd like to
have as much information as possible i.e. BIOS version, used/unused memory
slots in servers and clients, OS, etc.
Thanks,
Sam
