Network Disconnecting

We have windows 2000 server. We are facing problem that our server is being
disconnected at any time at any situation. What could be the solution to
resolve the problem?

defective switch or hub ?
 
Hello Pandey,

This could be a hardware or software issue.
1- Try a different patch cable, different port on the switch/hub or connect server to a different switch/hub
2- Obtain the latest signature files for your AV software and scan the system and other PCs for viruses
3- Try changing the link speed on the network adapter from Auto to 100 or 10 Mb speed
