Hi, I hope somebody is able to provide the solution to this problem I
face. The problem occured at some point last week, and it continued until
now. At that point I didn't do anything special on my computer, just my
normal everyday doings on it. The problem is that I no longer able to
play a game over the network (or internet either) when it is running in
full screen (its normal mode). After I did many investigations, I found
out that when I run the game in window mode, it can access to the network
or internet section such as multiplayer. Any idea why my window now only
let games to access the internet only when they are running in window
mode, not the full screen mode (their normal mode)?? For example with
Halo or Dungeon Siege games, when I try to access the network section
(click on "Multiplayer" in Halo or "Multiplayer"->"Internet" in Dungeon
Siege), either game just hangs or freezes itself. It looks like they are
waiting for the incoming sigal or something like that. They work perfect
in window mode but not in full screen. To my feeling, maybe it is
something that deals with resetting the network configuration in Win XP?
Or something need to fix in the registry? Many thanks in advance for any
help!
