network counters are missing

Hello,
while working on the performance monitoring of windows 2000 server it has
been identified that network counter are not uploaded in perfmon (start --
run --- perfmon -- counter ) and i am unable to add the network counters.
which can also be identified from error log CSV file of the perfmon folder.

Can you please suggest me / guide me what is the technical procedure to
upload or add the network counters.

You can Add/Remove them by regedit, but it's much easier to use exctrlst.exe
(Extensible Counter Listing Tool) from the resource kit to enable/ disable
the counters.
