Network Connections

I have a Shaw Internet connections, I recently reformatted my Hard Drive and
resinstalled Windows XP. Anyway I am not able to get my cable internet
connection back, and i was wondering if someone could give me detailed
instructions on how to reconnect? Thanks a lot!

Hi there Easy,

Are you connected to the Cable Modem via a network cable or USB Cable? Is
there perhaps a router connected between your cable modem and computer? If
so, what model?

I figured out what was going on, my new Bios that a installed didnt have the
network drivers. I grabbed them from Dell.com on my upstairs computer. It
all worked out in the end!
