When I sign off of AOL a pop-up screen appears with the
heading "Network Connections." The message is: "You (or a
program) have requested information from . Which
connection do you want to use?" Then it has a subheading
for "Connections:" and below that it lists America Online
in a highlighted box. Below that there is a box to check
next to the words "Don't ask me again until the next time
I log on." Below that there are buttons
for "Settings", "Connect" and "Cancel".

This screen is annoying. How can I stop it from appearing?

Disable Auto-Dial
Right click the My computer icon (Desktop), open Manage/Services and
Applications/Services. In the right pane scroll down to Remote Accces Auto
Connection Manager and double click it. Use the Startup
type drop box and choose Disabled.
