I have been having troubles, thought they were virus', but
it isn't. After restarting my system, I try to sign online
using a shortcut on the desktop. It flashes the hourglass
briefly and then nothing happens. When checking the
properties, it says that there is no file linked to the
icon. Attempting to get to the dialup through the control
panel has the same effect. There are no connections listed
in the folder for the internet connection although I know
there are currently 3 different connection possibilities.
What could be causing the dialup connection links to
disappear. I also get an error message if I try to go in
and double check the settings for the remote controls and
get memory error messages if I try to CTRL-ALT-DEL to
check the processes that are running.
