XP home was wirelessly connecting to my wireless router
and suddenly it does not. A laptop in the same physical
location connects immediately with the same usb/netgear
attenna - so the antenna is good. I have reinstalled
netgear software but get nothing.

Possibly related is a network bridge connection that is
disabled but will not allow me to remove it. Could this
be blocking something? How do I force removal?

Appreciate direction to a help site or other thoughts.
..

The network bridge is required in XP to make all your connections work. Had same problem with my wireless network and had to re-enable the network bridge. Stupid if you ask me...

The network bridge is not required. Why can't you delete it? Is it this?
