I just installed Windows XP Professional. Before
installation I removed firewall, virusscan, and did a
compatibility check. There were no conflicts.
Installation went fine, but now I try to connect to the
internet and a screen comes up saying there is no modem
installed. My devise driver shows the modem and say it
is working properly. I went to network connections and
tried to install a new connection. I say I want to
install manually, but the next screen is greyed out
except for the always on connection. I want to log in on
my connection. Can anyone help?

Thanks, Paul
