My Local area connection show that it is plugged into a
10mb network but when I unplug the cable it shows as it is
still there. And I am not able to surf the net using my
static IP and I can't see anyusers on the network but my
self.

All setting are configured correct. I tried uninstalling
and reinstalling the onboard card drivers with no luck.

Can someone help..

Thanks in advance.

Nabil,

What is the Operating System of your computer?
What is the IP address, subnet mask and default gateway it has?
How are you connected to the Internet?
How are you connected to the other computers?
Does this computer have one ot two network adapters?
Is this computer part of a workgroup?
Is the workgroup name on this machine EXACTLY (case sensative) the same as the other
machines?

Thanks,
Gary
