Network Configuration Restore

I have a Vista Business OS and I have made many changes to the network and
security settings. I have lost track of what was done. Is there any way I can
restore those settings back to default without having to reinstall the entire
OS? My restore points do not go back as far as I need them to and I need to
restore the settings. Ideally I would like ALL System defaults restored but
do not want to reformat the system.
Any suggestions?

Hi Trevor,

As far as System Restore goes, for best results it should be used as soon as
possible after a problem is detected. Restoring a system back more that a
week or so can often cause more problems that it solves. So whenever changes
are made create a restore point prier to the changes. And after the changes
are made test the network for functionality. If a problem arises that you
cannot fix, use the restore point created just before the changes. And try
again.

For a longer term solution, imaging software is a very good choice. Here are
two examples.

Acronis True Image

BootIt Next Generation & Image for Windows
