Been stumbling around for two days trying to get Wireless LAN working. It
is OK now, but I notice the numbering of LAN cards is all messed up. I now
only have one LAN card, but it is identified as LAN #5. Appreciate some
help in rectifying this.

Thanks

The number looks funny, but it really doesn't make any difference.

You can right click the network connection and rename it to whatever
you want. For example, I had "Wireless Network Connection 5" on my
computer. I just changed its name to "Wireless Network Connection 1",
then "Wireless Network Connection", then "Netgear MA401".
