I have SBC DSL and am connected via a NETGEAR RT314 router. All was
working fine, however when I installed a new mouse driver for my new
logitec optical mouse, I now can no longer get to any website (don't
quite understand the connection). LOCAL AREA CONNECTION shows no
packet is being recieved, and it uses LCAL AREA CON1 which appears
with an X in the Network and Dial-Up Connection Window. Can anyone
help me understand Why I can't get to any websites at this time??

Thanks

I have the same Router, and I get this problem.. My research on the web
leads me to believe it's a problem with the Router itself (although I
find that using Internet Explorer seems to be the only thing that
actually causes it to happen - it has never once happened as a result of
using Mozilla Firefox)

It is easily fixed by yanking out the power cord in the back of the
router for 2 secs, and plugging it back in again... sure is annoying
though. I've never explored the possibility of a firmware upgrade to
fix the problem.. I just avoid MSIE :-)
