This is a fairly interesting problem. I was working on a
machine that the user was having Outlook Problems. I
took a look at it and in fact, it was The local machine
having the problems and not our exchange server. I could
not find anything wrong, I went to check the network
connection, and nothing appeared in the "Network and
Dialup Connections" folder. Not even "Add a New
Connection". I honestly do not know what the user had
done to do this. I rebooted the machine and everything
was okay after that. The question here is, is why would
it dissappear like that and after reebooting, it would
come back. Ironically, the same thing happened to a PC
in the next cube. I don't know if this is an air born
virus (he he) that is viciously spreading accross our
network (which is not).
