Network adapter

Hello:
I have a problem:

I have a Pentium III. I use a 3DCom as network adapter. When I use it under
Windows 2000, it's disconnects and connects with an interval of 2 seconds.
Anybody knows why it happens?

First guess would be a bad driver or bad hardware.

I have installed the correct driver. Could be a parameter of the bios?

I doubt it.

I'd suggest looking for the latest driver for the adapter. If that
doesn't work, it's probably a hardware problem.
