Network access quits after Win2k move to new HD

I just used ntbackup.exe to migrate my Toshiba Satellite
Pro 6100 from a 40GB hard drive to an 80GB hard drive
using the technique described in MS KB article 249694.
What little I've seen so far works except networking. I
connect my four computers together and to the Internet via
a Lynksys router and twisted twisted pair. It seems to me
that I didn't have to do much to access the Internet via
my LAN - just specify a workgroup name, computer names,
and let the DHCP server in the router assign IP
addresses. Apparently something was lost in the ntbackup
restore over the installed OS, but I can't figure out what
it was.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

TIA,

Rob

OK no replies. Here is what I did to fix:

I had to enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP. To get there I had
to open Network and Dial-up Connections from My Network
Places. Then open Properties of Local Area Connection;
then Properties of Internet Protocol (TCP/IP). Then click
the Advanced... button. Under the WINS tab,
Choose "Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP" rather than the
default "Use NetBIOS setting from the DHCP server". Wow!!!
