Hello!

I´m using this http://nettime.sourceforge.net/ program to sync time on my
servers. I´m also running this on my 2000 terminal server.

But when the users logon this program must be configured by every user that
logon?

Not terminal server compatible?

Did you know that you can set DCs to sync with a specific Internet SNTP server via batch file or registry edit w/o 3rd party software, and that domain members will automatically sync time with the DCs w/o any configuration

net time /setsntp:140.221.9.
echo "sync time with ntp-2.mcs.anl.gov

I've been doing this since deploying Active Directory in early 2000 and have never had a problem

This is a stand alone 2000 server. But it is possible to use that command
without DC?

Forgot to ask: Does the server remember this command "forever" or must I use
it in a script?

That command will work with a stand-alone server, but 2000/XP Pro clients won't sync time with it automatically because it's not a DC

I suppose you could push out a NTP address with DHCP
