Is found every scan and removed every time but shows up
again the next day. Does anyone know how to get rid of
this?

Steps to take if you have spyware that is not removed by
Microsoft Windows
AntiSpyware (beta)
1) Open up AntiSpyware
2) Click Tools at the top
3) Click "Submit a Suspected Spyware Report"
4) Fill out the form with as much detail so we can analyze
quickly

By doing these steps before trying something new, you make
the product better.

Thanks again for testing the betª!!!!

Generally, in a case where the item is identified, but not
properly removed, the next steps are:

1) Update both Microsoft Antispyware and your antivirus
application.
2) Restart in safe mode by pressing the F8 function key
before the first Windows screen appears at startup.
3) Do full deep scans with Microsoft Antispyware. Repeat
scanning until a complete scan comes through clean. Ditto
with the antivirus.

This isn't guaranteed, but it works for a great many items
that at first appear not to be cleaned in normal mºde.

Make sure real time protection is started and active on
all three agents. Also, under options then real-time
Protection you have the agent that allows you to
automaticlly prevent all scripts from running. Finally, I
suggest you change all your passwords including your
administrator password that most users do not know nor
change. PS (Good Idea to rename this account to and
enable a firewall or two...

Best of luck,

I can not send the report. Getting an error message:
check your internet proxy settings. Where can I send
screen shots of my problem?

Joel - have you looked closely at exactly what is being detected?

This is important: is this detection "real"--i.e. is what is being
detected sufficient code to actually constitute a keylogger.

If it is, you need to get this fixed ASAP. I'd recommend calling Microsoft
PSS. In the U.S. or Canada, call 1-866-pcsafety. Elsewhere, call the local
Microsoft subsidiary or number for paid support, and ask for the free help
for virus issues or security patch related problems.

You could post them here, but it would be much better to cut and paste the
information, or even retype it.

This is a beta product, and there is no support for it except peer to peer
support in these groups.

On the other hand, your problem of having a keylogger in place (if this is
really the case) is definitely something for which there is direct free
support from Microsoft.
