Netshield on W2K : Slow File Copy

I'm using a netshield 4.5 (scan engine 4.2.60) on w2k
server. The problem I'm facing at the moment is that when
I try to copy a large number of small files (in a single
folder), it takes somewhat longer than usual (used to be 4-
5 minutes on pc but 18+ minutes on the server.

Chech your Netshield settings for inbound/outbound scanning and if you are
scanning all files instead of just defaults.

There is also a threshold meter for compressed file scans. This can also
affect performance during a scan.

In addition to the other post - using only inbound scanning should be
sufficient, and will probably speed this up a lot.
