netsh probelm

I'm using Windows XP embedded SP2 and trying to set the IP address as static.
However I get the following message:

WARNING: Could not obtain host information from machine: [Machine Name].
Some commands may not be available.

What am I missing here ?

Any help/suggestions is appreciated...

Network Command Shell Interface Context and IP Monitor Routing
