I`m sorry for this post. I know Netscape is an unrelated
topic, but I am trying to save myself the aggravation of
reformatting my drive, and I can`t get any help from the
Netscape discussion boards. Can ANYONE tell me why, when I
type in a word to search(using Netscape 7.02) I ALWAYS
get "the page cannot be found"?
Is it a path issue in my registry?
I have tried uninstalling it...reinstalling it, and
nothing works. I have even tried installing from a known
good version from a cd.
any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Dunno... You could try upgrading it to Netscape 7.1 (built on Mozilla 1.4 or 1.4.1), but I wouldn't recommend that. AOL stopped it's browser development, so 7.1 is the last version. Instead, use Mozilla 1.5. http://www.mozilla.org It's basically the same browser with cosmetic differences. If you a have a Netscape webmail account, you can't use it though. You could also try Mozilla Firebird, but it's still in beta.
