Okay for a long time I had no issues using netmeeting, but nowadays
connecting has been impossible. The most important feature I used was connect
to desktop and have the ability to fix family and friends computers, now I
cannot.

I've done as much as possible including disabling firewalls. One issue might
be my wireless router and even there I tried setting up the port forwarding.
Is Netmeeting just plain ol' done with and I'd be interested in any good
product suggestion.

Thanks

I use it all the time and it works well. Since some people still don't
have XP, I prefer this to the built-in Remote Desktop Connection. Do
you send them your current ip address, or to a server? I have a sticky
ip address and they have that in their address bar. Have you tried
that? What error message do you receive?
