Netmeeting error: "Person called is not able to accept netmeeting

I just set up my Dad's new PC running XP. I'd like to be able to use
netmeeting to log into his system when he has problems (frequently :( When
I tried this morning from home I got the message "The person you called is
not able to accept netmeeting calls."

What do I need to do with the firewall to allow me to connect?

Thanks!

Using windows messenger defaulted by Xp has a program called remote
assistance.
Alternatively using MSN messenger has remote assistance which allows you
to have access to another persons pc as well as having control.
What you need to do is for your father and your self is to open a Hotmail
account, and get a NET PASSPORT, when signed up (for Free), Then download
msn messenger 7 from http://messenger.msn.com/ go here hit download the next
window will ask you if you want to create /register an account. Follow the
instructions.
So when you both have set up msn messenger and hotmail and installed
messenger go to add contacts to your account and add contacts to your
fathers account, that is your father will have your hotmail address and you
will have his etc.....
Actually very simple.
Click on your fathers name a window opens which is called 'conversation' up
top you will see activities tab, click on it and scroll down to remote
assistance, your father will receive an invite, he accepts, shortly
afterwards you will have visual sight of his desk top, and on top of this
window there is a tab called allow control, click on that, your father will
receive a request to allow control he says yes and there you are.
Also in MSN messenger and Windows messenger you can talk to one another,
providing you both have microphones (very inexpensive) and speakers. If you
both have microphones and speakers click on the tab called audio in msn
messenger/windows messenger conversation box. and start talking to each
other.
Net meeting is to cumbersome to use,
