Does someone know how to do a script that can restore my connection to network in w2000 after a restart automaticly.I mean, so I can access the network without printing in username and other things. There is 500 km betveen me and the pc and then the electric pover failure, and the pc has too reboote.

If it's a Workgroup computer, you can just set it to log in
automaticaly...if it's on a domain, there's a reg key that you can use to do
this....take a look at MS site for the reg key.

By default, any shares on the PC will be available when the PC boots up
without having the user logged in.

Lars,

An easier way to alter the reg keys is to download the powertoys for win2k from microsoft. These tools include an applet called TweakUI, which among other settings, allows you to set the machine to log a user in automatically.
