'NetLogon' Service in Workgroup Environment

Hi All,

Can someone please advise the +/- of using the NetLogon service for a
computer in a workgroup rather than in a domain environment ??

Hi Neil,

Thanks for your posting. The Netlogon service is used in a domain
environment. For more information please refer to the following article:

As Roger mentioned, you can set the startup type to Manual if you don't
want the service to run automatically on computer startup.
