I am having issues with AD and DNS windows 2000 sp3
Some how DNS got Majorly messed up and DNS does not match
they way AD is set
In netlogon.dns it states that there should be a MT01 in
the sites folder however in DNS it is listed as default-
site-first-name

How do I change either the DNS entry or make an AD change
I tried to edit netlogon.dns pointing to the right dns
entries but it seems it gets recreated when restarting
netlogon

Where are the DNS values defined that netlgon uses ??

Thanks Much

The Netlogon DNS has the Netlogon registrations that are passed on to DNS.
If the zone does not allow dynamic updates you have to manually add the
records from the netlogon.dns file.
That being said, what records are the netlogon registrations that aren't
being updated in DNS?
This error usually shows up the event log, what events are in the log?
