NetDiag Error On DNS Test

I have 2 domain controllers in my Windows 2000 AD. Both of them pass
every test in a DCDIAG. But just one of them passes every test with
NETDIAG. The other one domain controller fails one NETDIAG test:

DNS test . . . . . . . . . . . . . : Failed
[FATAL]: The DNS registration for 'DC1.xyz.net' is incorrect on
all DNS servers.
PASS - All the DNS entries for DC are registered on DNS server
'10.1.xxx.103
' and other DCs also have some of the names registered.
PASS - All the DNS entries for DC are registered on DNS server
'10.1.xxx.102
' and other DCs also have some of the names registered.

I'm confused seeing that the FATAL error is followed by two PASS
entries. Is this cosmetic or is this really something to worry about?
Using nslookup, I find no problems with DNS anywhere. Still, the
error bothers me.

Thanks,

I've seen this once myself. In that case the DNS entry for that server was
incorrect on the three DNS servers involved. Double check the entry and
make sure there isn't a typo or something else odd on the servers involved.

Have you actually physically checked each DNS server to see if 'DC1.xyz.net'
is configured properly? Are these DNS servers hosting AD Integrated zones?
Did you configure your machines to ONLY use these internal DNS servers and
not others (like an ISP's)?
